Morning from the LGW Clubhouse

Morning everyone,

Check in experience was terrible. No warmth or friendly banter and I wasn't even informed the VS15 was delayed (thankfully the text and email had arrived from VS at 4am)

Premium security was closed so joined a rather busy line but credit to LGW they were well organised and it moved quickly.

Picked up some currency along the way and then I was drawn to the warmth of the CH. The welcome was warm, friendly and genuine. Service is top notch as always and I am already enjoying the Kiwi, Mango and Passion Fruit sundae. The team here have kindly reserved a treatment for me just in case I wanted one....this truly is my favourite CH.

I'm also delighted to hear some of the CH team have been in LA helping train the team and organise things there so that is really positive.

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone and of course a delayed departure means more time in the CH!! ): :D

Good to know that the Gatwick Clubhouse Team continue to turn around the lack lustre check in and security.

You know I am already a committed admirer of the Team there and please pass on my regards ;)

Hope the flight is as good as the service you are currently receiving

Safe travels

Thanks buns - I will certainly pass along your regards. They really are a superb team here and a credit to VS.

Fingers crossed that the team onboard are just as attentive!

Love this corner buns - some lads from a reality show were sat in here with me until the LAS flight was called. Now just 10 of us in the CH waiting for the 15 and told we should be boarding at 1330.

Sat in the Radisson at Dublin on part one of my first marathon ex-dub trip

No1 lounge in EDI whilst good won't live up to the clubhouse which looks like it helped redeem a poor start to your journey. Hope your flight was good ( and mines tomorrow ) and will try and catch up sometime over the next few days.
