is there a lounge for uc pax at manchester ? if so what are your experiences of it ?

It is the Escape lounge.

Do a search as I'm sure people have commented on it before.

It's free when travelling UC. To be honest, it's not great. It's just somewhere that has slightly comfier seats than those by the gate, and had some free food and drink, although very basic.

If you're after a sit down and quick basic bite of cereal or muffins then you're fine. If you want a full cooked b'fast or a more filling experience then you may want to eat in any of the other food outlets in the departure lounge.
