V-Flyer

It's a little calmer in here now a couple of the early VS & DL flights have been called. Check-in and the Upper Clas wing where also busy.

Just eaten breakfast and a back massage booked for 10:15. All good so far.

I think at least 1 VS flight must have gone tech yesterday as there was a member of VS ground staff on the hotel hopper bus collecting pax. It looks to have been the VS7 to LAX as the VS1007 flight has just been called.

Just had a nice steam shower and currently cooling off up on the patio. The sun is also out

I do think the patio area is one the the hidden gems of the LHR Clubhouse especially in the summer months. It's seems very few people know it's actually there!!

Thanks for that James, I will make sure I explore the patio in a few weeks as I didn't know it was there either

Enjoy your trip and the clubhouse, we found the patio area a few years ago, my hubby loves it as he can breathe in the aviation fuel, worked on aircraft for 39 years and loves the smell of outside airports.Geekish in his own way and the roar of the engines.

Miss the Clubhouse as we have nothing booked with Virgin for the foreseeable future, maybe next year as we have a few miles left. Linda

Just arrived at the Crowne Plaza San Francisco airport (moving to the city tomorrow and the InterContinental again as hotel prices there for Sunday night where silly money).

I will post a TR, though it was a super flight and record breaking arrivals times (for me anyway).

We landed at 14:50 at gate 3 which is the nearest one to immigration so a very short walk. No waiting to use the self-service immigration machines (for the first time). A 5 min wait for the self service machine receipt verification, bags already coming off belt 11 and by 15:15 I was boarding the shuttle bus to the hotel!!!

It took almost as long to get to the hotel
