A good friend of mine has developed a illness and will not be using his club card points to virgin flying club.

Could he convert them and deposit them in my FC account. Obviously I would reward him

Has anyone converted to another persons name?

I don't see why not as you only input your flying club number on the Tesco clubcard website and not name or anything

With my Clubcard points have converted to hubbys Virgin account, so do not know how they are with looking into names or personal details. They could try a small amount to see if it all goes through ok. Linda

Hmmm be careful... Clubcard vouchers from multiple Clubcards can be pooled to a single FC account - I have done this with myself, hubby and grandfather's tesco accounts even on the same day - BUT IIRC it says on the clubcard boost webpage for Virgin flying club that this is permissible provided that the Clubcards are registered to the SAME POSTAL ADDRESS.

I usually alternate between myself and my wife and this seems to kick the bonus into play of 1000 miles

Might try this. Could do with getting my own orphan 3k miles up to something useful like at least a one way upgrade. If you don't mind - how often do you alternate? 1000 here and there helps me a lot. OT sorry folks

I just wanted to check I'm reading this right. I collect clubcard points and transfer them into miles from my clubcard but I could convert some of my mums points to miles for my account as well?

I alternate every quarter but I do change my preference to say ba miles for a few days then before the conversion is due put my wife's flying club number in and then alternate my flying club number the next time.
