Hi - we're off to vegas on Thursday :-D and for the first time in 7 years we're on a A340 600 instead of the usual 737 for some strange reason.

For the past month I've been checking which planes have been doing this run on a Sunday and Thursday from Manchester and the one today said a 737 but my question is this...when I go to tool box and "which aircraft will it be on" to see which plane is being used - it's always saying that it's landed when it's only just taken off. Yes I am probably sad but me and my son take great pleasure in tracking the plane as it goes across the atlantic and saying "this time next week that will be us"  but we haven't been able to do this.

We can't get a feel for if its arriving late or early as I don't know where they are getting their arrival times from. Is this a plot to fiddle the figures ??? ;-)

Anyone else a) as sad as me and b) noticed this on the routes they've been tracking??

ps It's flight VS085 and it's hot lips today but although it's got another 3+ hours to go it's saying it's landed

You track the flight on google just put the flight number in today's flight lands at 14.53 local time

thanks sun seeker!

Just a shame that we cant' track the progress of the flight on the map in Toolbox like we used to. I loved watching it fly across the atlantic !
Don't know if this is just our flight or that function isn't working anymore

Virgin doesn't have any 737s.

There are a fair few websites that have live flight tracking. I use Flight Radar on the ipad which does pretty much everything you'd need.

Not sure a 737 would make it to Vegas from the UK!

I think it's fair to assume the OP meant 747 ;)
