Hi we fly LHR-ATL-DAB tomorrow.
I have checked in for the Vigin flight ex LHR but, of course, that does not include the ATL-DAB leg. Do I check in online for that separately or is online check-in not available for the second leg?
1st time going indirect so a bit unsure how it works.

When you reach LHR to drop your bags and collect your boarding passes, you should be given boarding passes for both legs. I've never had to check in separately for each one.
The important thing to remember is once you get to ATL, as with any time you transit through a US destination, you will need to collect your bags after immigration/customs and then re-check them in again, before proceeding through security. For Atlanta, if I remember right, there is a DL bag drop desk immediately after you get through customs, on the left I believe. There will usually be someone there to direct you to connections. Once you're through security there are many giant screens that will show you where your connection leaves from, and the plane train stops at all the terminals and is a pretty easy way to get around.
Anyway that might be waaaay more information than you needed but I hope it helps!

Checked with Virgin. Second leg is with Delta and we need to check in with them later today. All still on one through ticket though.
Thanks for the other info. We were aware of the immigration requirements.
