How can I find out which aircraft will be flying my route? I would like to know about on board power but as there are two types of 747-400 aircraft i need to know the aircraft registration to work this out . Any ideas?

For the different 747 configs; they are either LGW/MAN/GLA/BFS based or LHR based so that makes it easier.

What route are you flying?

Edit - Just looking at your previous posts, you look to be flying to SFO, therefore, if you are on either the VS19/20 you be on the LHR config B747.

For the LHR based 747's you need an EmPower connector, though the crew do have a few adapters to loan out in the Upper Class cabin.

I bought an empower to USB power adapter in Maplin ready for my flight back from SFO on a 747 (assuming they don't change the plane). They've stil, got some left for £1.99.

Thanks for the responses. I always like an excuse to go to Maplin!
