I'll be flying for the first occasion on VX next Monday from SFO to LAX. I have a FIRST ticket (Mileage flight via VS). Is there any lounge access for VX passengers at SFO?

According to
https://www.virginamerica.com/cms/fly-w ... ounges/sfo ... as a FIRST passenger you can purchase SFO Clubhouse access for $40

Indeed, in common with most US airlines a First Class ticket doesn't in itself entitle you to lounge access. It's status that counts over there, not class of travel. As mentioned, though, you can pay on the door.

It's a complete pain though as the VS Clubhouse is landside in the International terminal whilst all domestic VX flights depart from T2. It's only the VX flights to CUN that depart from the International terminal.
The Clubhouse is also only open to VX pax between 14:00 - 20:30 (only 17:00 on Mondays + Friday's)
It's not worth it IMHO.

I am flying in First SFO - SAN and from another thread have already decided to save the $40 fee to spend in the terminal.
Likewise LAS - SFO later! $80 will keep me in Starbucks coffee and cakes for a month!

That's good to know as I'll be using VX from SFO to LAS next year too. Interestingly, they also offer access to JFK lounge for $75, IAD lounge for $45 and The Loft at LAX is complimentary if you have full fare F tickets on VX, otherwise it's $30.

Thanks for the info - I'll give that a skip then for a few reasons. I should have said that as i ticketed this via VS as a mileage flight the amount of information coming my way is awful. Barely a confirmation of ticket, the information about luggage is incorrect, I struggle to get a seat allocated. It's been a pretty painful experience and as I needed to change my flight I had to pay £25 for that privilege also. Unless the flight is exemplary I probably won't bother again.
