EU compensation for a mileage flight

Well I'm still sat in the LHR CH waiting for the midday flight to SFO. 5.5 hour delays so far. This is going to be well over the 4 hour limit for the higher eu compensation. It was firstly a tech problem and later a catering issue (as if they didn't have long enough to sort that out)?

But my question is, is eu compensation still payable for a mileage flight?

TIA

Paul

Yes it does apply.

But remember it applies to the difference between scheduled time of arrival and actual time of arrival and that flights can make up time in the air.

Thanks. Yeah I was aware that it applies to arrival. But even with the after burners on we won't get any better than 4 hours delay. I'll make a note of the arrival time when we get there.

I've just filled out the form - The first section asks for a Claim Management Company details - If I am doing this myself, I assume I just enter my own details?

wasn't aware there was 2x forms.
I filled in the first one with my details as the claim management company & got paid with no issues.
