Using points from a family members account

I think I know the answer but I will ask away.

My husband and I have authorised each other on our FC account's and use each others miles to book reward flights a lot. If we were to authorise each other on our daughters account can we use her miles to book flights even though she wont be travelling with us. Basically I'm trying to save the miles transfer fee.

Thanks in advance

Yes, provided you are authorised users you can use the miles from that account to book a flight for anyone.

And as long as the miles cover at least one sector of your planned trip then yes.

And it would be your daughter that would be authorising you to use her miles not the other way around!
