hi all i've just checked in online for my flight tomorrow and i was wondering if you can put a can of hairspray in the suitcase... it's never been a problem before.

don't use it myself, but have packed other aerosols with no issue, i'm sure you'll be fine
though given how many use hydrocarbon propellants, i'm always intrigued that they allow them on planes, and of course the tsa allows alchohol in checked baggage, but not flammable liquids
never expect consistency or logic in air transport security

Well here's asomething to debate
If you have it in your suitcase your are ok
I work in the air freight industry
And if we send it as freight it has to be haz packed and lots of paperwork raised.Even if it is 1can
But a plane that could have 300 people on it all with 1can each don't have to do anything
Try working that one out

Shhhhhhh...or they will decide to debate it themselves, then forbid it to be put in the hold luggage.
Not that I use hairspray mind you! If only I had enough hair to be "flyaway"
