off to DXB on business, snuck in a weekend to enjoy the sun, i'll assuage my guilt by also working outside sunning hours, though, actually, i'm finding i don't feel that guilty!

bit of a long ride out from central london due to traffic, the indian pm's visit seems to be the cause

quick through DTCI, bit of a queue at security, all the people ahead seemed to be filling three trays each, slowly, i caught the eye of one of the screeners and was queue jumped :)

stocked up on tawny port in duty free, found at checkout i could get one for free on my heathrow rewards card points, yippee, then into the CH, quiet when i arrived (1800-ish) but much busier now, created hors d'oeuvres at the deli counter to go with bubbly one, just got bubbly two and ordered a CH burger, so far a much better CH experience than last time

i raise my glass to vflyers and people of good heart everywhere, cheers!

And I'm sure 'people of good heart' will apply to all Vflyers, more importantly they will not hesitate to raise a glass in response.

Here's hoping you have a great trip, and I'll raise a glass of cheers in response. But I do think you could feel just a tad guilty, you know, for "working and sunning". Just sayin...
