An Idea : Post Your Favorite Holiday/Vacation Photo

Just a thought, if people are prepared to share - post up your favourite holiday snap.
Maybe limit it to one Holiday or Destination if it was a multiStop.

Could always turn it into a little game & guess the location?
I'll start (nice easy one if the we go the game route!)

I waited ages for the crowds to disappear & the selfie sticks to be put away, and while I managed to get 3 or 4 of the famous iconic symbol - I got lucky with this one with the park ranger walking into view.

I agree, Liberty Bell in Philly, a place I've yet to visit.

Here's my first, I had to wait ages for people to stop walking in front of me to take their own photos. What and where is this?

Great thread... not sure where Bretty's picture was taken but the light show at the front looks a bit like 4 cyclists.

Yes, Fuji San. She hid herself away when we were staying at Kawaguchiko, but I got up at 4.30 am one morning and the clouds lifted partially so she could reveal herself :-)

It was a beautiful morning, so calm and peaceful. I just sat in the outdoor spa on our balcony and was completely chilled for a couple of hours. Certainly worth the trip out of Tokyo.

I've a lovely photo of Fuji San, and she was really showing herself off. Anyway, here's another entry, anybody guess where:

Darn it, I thought I'd posted the pic without the 3 rivers sign. That'll teach me to preview before posting!

But yes, it's Forks / La Push, on the edge of the Quileute Reservation (Twilight Saga country, although that's not why I was there).

Bingo! The view from Zabriskie point. We were up around 4am to get there for sunrise, as much as I'm not a morning person this was well worth it. It was a really breathtaking time, would love to go back.

We were discussing this last evening - we intended to do sunset and managed to miss it by 2 minutes....

Not got a clue where it is but that's a great photo.

Some really good ones on here, have people managed to get many printed? It's been our resolution this year to make sure we get a few off the computer and onto our walls, going ok so far, have managed to do a couple from our Death Valley trip and will hopefully get a few more over the next year or two.

Just missed you. We were there in August. We have stayed in the beach house twice and love it, but plan to have the garden room on our next visit in 2017.
