Travelling UC to DXB in a few weeks. Do you receive any kind of fast-track access for immigration? On my last visit to DXB (albeit not with VA) I recall having to wait over an hour.

Thanks!

You don't. I always use Marhaba Meet & Greet Service http://www.marhabaservices.com/#arrival

Thanks. Would be interested to hear how people have found standard immigration wait times after arriving on the VS400. If it seems to be universally long waits then I'll definitely book the Marhaba service.

I went into DXB on Dec 8th last year and there were very small queues once I got to immigration. I was only waiting for about 5-10 minutes.

I made 3 visits to Dubai last year travelling on the VS400 in economy, there were never very long queues at immigration and we were through very quickly.
After disembarking the plane look out for the lifts hidden to your right through a small passage way before you get to the down escalators. This cuts out all the escalators and gets you to the ground floor quicker.

We are also travelling to Dubai again on the 23rd of this month.

unless they stopped, there's a purple/white fast track pass that the CC would provide if asked

if you've got your UC boarding pass that may even be accepted - i've seen people just go to the fast track with no sign of a pass

as i'm usually not in the first batch out of the cabin, even with the pass i often just go to the normal desks as it can be faster as the fast track queue forms, i've got a few of them unused at home

there's rarely much if any queue and it can be faster - it depends heavily on if there was an arrival shortly before the VS one and where from, pax from some countries get a lot more scrutiny, then queues can back up and it's worth heading for fast track instead

Another vote for Marhaba. Also saves the 10-15 minute walk through the terminal as they collect you on a buggy. Flew the VS400 last year and managed to get off the plane and into JBH within 40 minutes.

We were there 18th of December we were given fast track passes but the fast track was closed. there were queues however more lanes were opened and we were through in less than 10 minutes bags were waiting for us on the carousel. All in all a quick and easy process.
We even beat the Marhaba people through!
