787 Exit Row (Row 53) Window Seat - Intrusion?

Hi All,

Heading off to London soon on the Dreamliner and have payed the $80 for the exit row. I'm currently in the window, 53A, but am now wondering if the emergency exit door juts into the leg space of this seat like on some other aircraft? Or should I go for 53C?

Cheers!

Here's some pictures so you can decide.

This is Virgin's picture - as you will see it's been cropped quite cleverly.

This is a picture of Ethiopian 's 787 but the setup is the same as Virgin's

and from the perspective of someone sat in the seat.

This is a Qantas 747-400 with the same layout as Virgin (at least as far as economy is concerned)

There's a thread on it here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=288679

Any chance you could swap to row 31?

Thanks very much Stuart. I'm not too bothered about the door. Glad there is a window at 51 as that's more important to me.

I failed miserably to find a picture of row 51 :(

Edit: Minor success... not a great view

Judging by the light, there is a window to the right of the seat. That looks fine.

Many thanks Stuart.
