LHR hotel

Any recommendtions for a good hotel for one night? We're doing the ex DUB route to LAX and arrive at approximately 3pm. We have stayed at LHR several years ago and used the Marriot which we liked. Ideally we'd prefer a hotel with a shuttle and are not too fussed about breakfast as we'll eat in the clubhouse. Somewhere that offers a decent restaurant for an evening meal would be good too.

Sofitel without a doubt - globally recognised as one of the best. Love it there!

Hilton garden inn a short walk from Hatton Cross underground station or a hop arround on the bus or hotel hopper would be my choice.

Sofitel is a good choice, as is Hilton T4, we stayed there a few weeks ago and it was excellent. It's connected to the terminal by a (long) walkway. Transfer between terminals on HEX. We also like the Radisson Blue Edwardian at T3, which requires Hoppa bus or London bus transfer (London bus is free within the airport along Bath Road).
