Also tested by HeadforPoints here

Sounds a bit like Paypal in some ways.

It is, in theory at least, for business related purchases only. This lowers the transaction costs so they make some profit. How they will police that is uncertain. What the consequences will be for those that do use The CurveCard for non-business related finance is also unknown.

There is still a 1% foreign exchange fee, so does not beat Halifax Clarity nor Lloyds Avios on that score.

I have passed on it for now.

There are 2 major travel categories that my Supercard doesn't work on, petrol stations and Uber.

By the look of it, Curve has the same restrictions that would prevent it working for either of these so, for me, Curve isn't offering to solve a problem that Supercard doesn't already solve.

The list of currencies is quite restrictive too.
Curve says: We currently support these currencies: CNY, JPY, HKD, NZD, SEK, ZAR, NOK, GBP, BRL, CAD, ILS*, CHF, SGD*, INR, EUR, RUB, AUD, USD. (*not currently supported on Amex)

Notably absent (for me anyway) are: Danish Krone DKK, Czech Koruna CZK, Icelandic Krona ISK, Jordanian Dinar JOD, Mexican Peso MXN, Polish Zloty PLZ, Thai Baht THB and Turkish Lira THY.

Supercard says it works everywhere and, so far, this has been true.

Linking to Amex is nice and something Supercard can't do but for now I'll live with linking to my Hilton HHonours Visa for my travel spend while I see how this plays out.
