Hi guys

PE bulkheads - do they ever become available to select online before the flight or during online checkin? Or is it only at airport?

Cheers
Andy

I was told (as it applies to me) that those who are disabled, or travelling with an infant get priority when these seats open at airport check in. I have an infant travelling with us, and apparently we will get moved to bulkhead unless there is a younger child or disabled flyer.

If it's any help I was told exactly the same, I asked at check in and got lucky.
I don't know how many seats are held back in total and released at check in ?

Yep, I've been told the same as well!

For all aircraft there's 7 PE bulkhead seats, except the 747s which have 8.

My May flight on an A330 had all the PE seats available for allocation when I first booked, bar the bulkhead seats. I assume at checckin there will be a reshuffle if those with allocated seats get moved to the bulkhead

From my experience traveling with children these seats are usually reserved for those with infants and not available at online check-in. When the check-in desk opens you can ask and they'll make a phone call confirming the infants have all been allocated and seats are available before moving you into the seats.
