Hi All,

Have many of you had much luck in earning miles with e-rewards? Just signed up, wondering if its worth my while though!

it can be, but be prepared for a constant email bombardment.

I earn about 2,000 miles every 6 months. so no big deal.

In the last year or so I have experienced more surveys that 'crash' before the end. Most frustrating after spending about 15 mins on the process.

Also, and I seem to recall this has been discussed before ... I notice I don't 'qualify' for as many as I used to . Being female, retired/semi self employed and living in Wales - may have something to do with it I guess.

I run a very small catering operation - so when I put in that I am the owner/manager of a company I start getting bombarded with questions about how big my fleet of cars/vans is, how I manage IT infrastructure etc etc. so on some days I just put I am retired ... and I guess that is when I don't qualify.

I do the surveys anyway as the lesser amount of points awarded does slowly add up, but then I have the time to do them, if I was working full time I probably wouldn't bother.

I do complete them every so often, but only the surveys they direct at specific professional groups, for which you can get awarded several thousand points per survey. I cannot be bothered with the standard consumer surveys when, half way through the survey, they declare you are not in their target group despite you having provided them with information and spent 5 minutes answering their questions.

But if you have the time and patience to do it you can earn a few miles.

I probably earn as much from NOT qualifying for them as I do from the actual surveys I complete.
My age and being a one man band self employed person rule me out of a lot of surveys, but there is usually 50 points or so just for trying.
So my advice is enter every survey and keep hold of the points until you hit 6500 points then convert to 2000 air miles because it is better exchange rate.
And don't waste time trying to think about the answers.

I earned 10,000 miles with e-rewards in the last 12 months. So well worth having a go if you are willing to spend the time completing them.

I agree - do not think too much about the answers and the points will soon rack up - also as dickydotcom says, 6500 for 2000 miles is the best way forward.

You can set how many emails they send you within your account so you can get as many as you like of as few as you like and in my experience they do take these preferences into account.

If yuh don't like the look of a survey or are just too busy that day you can always just delete the email. You are not compelled to respond to every survey they send!

I do the surveys periodically, often I'm not their target audience, often they've had enough respondents in my group and sometimes I manage to get through a whole survey or three! I can go months and not get any emails but if I visit the site and start filling in surveys I'll get emails for a couple of weeks. The points add up eventually.

Be warned - try not to let your account go inactive! I left mine dormant for a while and when I came back to it to try and earn a few more miles they had suspended it for inactivity, its been nearly a month since I emailed them to ask them to reactivate it but not heard anything back...!

Despite that they were a decent source, if you're not eligible for the survey they usually credit you with a small amount of points to compensate.

I earn between 1000 and 2000 miles each month. I find that if you don't get email invites to surveys it often pays to go to the website and search for surveys
