I can't help with the menu but it's worth remembering that you might not get your first choice of meal anyway.

Just returned from our Vegas trip, we didn't get our first choice - salmon, instead we had the chicken biriyani - which was lovely.
My dessert was a very rich chocolate cake!
I forgot to take a pic of the menu!

Last year I couldn't have my choice of starter and was given 4000 miles for the inconvenience.

Do you have to ask for the miles compensation, or do they give it to you automatically?

Myself and Mrs D had both ordered the crab starter. It was quite a bumpy flight at the time.
Stewardess came up to Mrs D and apologies that she cant have the crab as they have run out. She immediately says Mr D will have the soup, he likes soup. So a very amusing conversation follows where I decline the soup due to turbulence and choose gnocchi instead.
The meal is served and shortly after the stewardess comes up to me and asks for my flying club number and tells me 4000 miles will be added to my account.
I don't know if it is a standard procedure but I have heard of others being awarded miles in flight.

Thanks for the info. I'd almost choose a different starter for 4000 miles :-)

This is the menu from my LHR-BOS flight on 17th March. It lists it as applying to VS1,17,3,25,9,11 December 2015)

Starter

Chicken & Smoked duck Terrine
Waldorf Salad (v)
Tomato and Basil Soup (v)

Mains

Chicken Biryani
Garlic and herb marinated beef
Atlantic Cod
Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini (v)

Pudding

Toffee Apple and pecan sponge
Chocolate Brownie

Cheese

Brie
Applewood wedge
Stilton

Extra Bites

classic gourmet burger
gruyere and red onion quiche (v)
prawn wontons
warm vegetable pakora and samoans (v)
cold charcuterie

(not sure that people should get or expect compensation for not getting their first choice - there is no guarantee of getting it and it happens on land too)

There are a few pictures of the items we had from that menu in Feb on my trip report.
I recommend the biryani.
