Just sat here in the SFO CH searching for some more reward flight but can't see a single thing For the next few months on all routes??

Website playing up or something brewing behind the scenes?

Finding the same here seany, no availability in any month to any destination.

Likely an IT glitch surely?

Guessing IT glitch, I've been checking several times a day recently for a particular flight and in the month I'm looking there were lots of seats yesterday (just none in the class and day I want) - today none at all. Could be related to the booking engine replacement perhaps?

..... and still an issue at 9.00am.

I'm getting this as well. No availability to NYC on any routes on any months! Something has fallen over in Crawley Towers methinks...

... and if you try the 'money' option there are only 4 seats left on every date, route, cabin class..... the VS hamster is having an April Food day !

I am getting an error "Sorry, a system error has occurred, please try again" searching for flights with the money option. Reward flights seem to be working again now

All seems to be working again now.

This Glitch nearly sent me into Panic Mode at 0300 on Friday morning. I still hadn't booked my return from Boston back to the UK mainly as I wasn't sure what I was actually going to do in terms of if I was going to go down to New York for a few days, Chicago, or even have a bit of a break in Miami!

Anyway I woke up at 0245 on Friday now that I pretty much know what I am doing (nothing too exciting just an extra in New York) and thought "Wow I better get that booked quick" logs in, and goes through there was nothing on any date in September or October, nothing on MIA, BOS, IAD, ATL to either LHR or MAN! I was beside myself and started pricing up Norwegian knowing how expensive singles are on VS or BA!

I thought I would just double check with the call centre after always remembering the golden rule on here - check with them as they can access availability that sometimes isn't on the website!

Anyway, thankfully the lovely lady at Flying Club got me EWR-LHR in PE on the 789!

Now just got to keep checking to see if a G opens up on it!!

Doing my twice daily check to spot a pattern of reward release and I get this.

surely they cant all have been booked in all classes?

I am also looking at Barbados and it's OK for going out but nothing earlier than the 13th Jan coming back ,the same thing happens each day some days are empty then appear the following day

It's because you are putting London, select Gatwick and it will resolve it

As regards Dickydotcom's problem, I can get the screen to show reward availability up to end of February but March is still not available. But that's probably because the normal revenue fares are only listed up to March 12th so they won't load any rewards for a few days. It's a waiting game at this stage

But that doesn't explain why on the 8th April there were reward fares in shown in all cabins on various dates up to the 9th March then suddenly everything has dropped off. Other airports are still showing rewards.
I haven't actually got to the date I want so not really worried yet. I'll start worrying in a couple of weeks if it hasn't changed.

I' m like you waiting for the right dates in March to appear but I have the added issue of deciding between the East or West coast! Life can be so stressful

Out of interest DickD what fare have you booked at this stage coz I know you've got the G's outbound to MCO but are waiting for the return to be annouced. So do you book a one way fares for each sector ??? Hev

I was wondering the same thing about this. I'm not convinced that there isn't a problem with the MCO reward flights right now as some March flights were definitely there until the 8th and they all disappeared at the same time. Other routes have had new reward flights appearing but the MCO flights have had nothing new appearing at all.

There is a problem. I checked online and nothing shown from MCO. I called flying club to check and there were some reward flights available, but not the one I wanted.
We are coming home via Atlanta now. It's nearer to where we are staying in South Carolina and costs less miles, and lands at Heathrow which is also closer to home. Just means we are not on the 747
