Hi all -

I have no immediate plans to fly Virgin America but am trying to stock up on my VS Flying Club points. Is it possible to transfer my Elevate points to my VS account? I was hoping I can do this before the Alaska sale/transfer is complete.

No. - Well certainly not directly.

It might be possible by doing it as an intermediary step from VX into say a hotel programme then to VS but you would loose out on a good number of miles this way.

How many VX miles are we talking about?

Is there no possibility of using them before the acquisition goes through?

Even after the merger it's likely that the two programmes would remain separate for a while before formally merging.

There are probably some FAQs about Elevate and the changes on the VX website - I'd start by looking at those.

Thanks for your response. I did look at the website but couldn't seem to find a straightforward answer. It's not a lot of points I am talking about, just hate for them to go to waste unnecessarily since I don't foresee using them anytime soon.
