Lounges MAN, ATL and JAX

Having snagged our bargain UC flights MAN-ATL-JAX, just wondering about lounge access.

From previous threads, I know there is a Delta lounge at ATL that VA UC passengers can use, but which lounge is available at MAN and also for when we depart JAX (assume there is a Delta lounge here?).

Many thanks.

I don't know about JAX but hopefully someone else can weigh in on that one. At MAN, UC passengers get access to the Escape Lounge. However, it's currently closed for renovations until approximately the 28th of April. In the meantime, UC passengers get £20 worth of refreshment vouchers each to use in the terminal at food and drink outlets. I'll be flying out of MAN on 11th of May, so if no one else has, I'll report back on the progress with the Escape Lounge! :)

Usual rule of thumb for the use of Airline Loungesin the US is that it is open only to those with elite relevant status with the airline - merely travelling First Class does not cut the mustard over there.

You can pay , but to be honest not worth the fee charged

Thanks both for replying, and apologises for only just getting back. It looks as if the Escape lounge is now reopened, so I can cancel our booking for the Swissport lounge (had booked this with our previously booked MAN-MCO PE flight). A few more ££s towards our holiday!!

Indeed it does. I also noticed a slightly different menu for the breakfast service in the escape lounge until 11am with a menu of dishes which can also be purchased.

Though the significant changes to the menu seem to have occurred after 11am which sadly I'm never in after 11am as I take the VS109 bringing the T2 escape lounge into line with the lounges at T1 and T3.

With regards to the Delta Sky clubs at ATL. They are all pretty similar and it will depend which concourse your connecting flight will depart from but it's a good place to refresh and take stock!

Enjoy!

Hi, we've just done this route, sadly not in UC this time, but I can confirm there is a Delta Lounge at JAX, I've just not been inside it. It was quite a nice airport to fly into, no really big queues to deal with either.

Not sure if you're picking a car up there, but we had time to get all the paperwork done at Alamo, before the bags came off the belt.

On the flight back, we literally had time to transfer terminals in Atlanta and priority boarding had already commenced when we got to the gate. We were about 30 mins late due to a storm coming through JAX before they finished loading the plane, but our bags made the connection to MAN ok.

You should be able to access the JAX Skyclub if you are continuing on an international J ticket the same day
