UC Virgins more questions

I have searched these answers but some go back a few years so sorry in advance.
I understand that you eat when you want, how does this work, do you have to arrange a time when you board?

Can you visit the bar anytime, we just want to have a drink up at the bar to say we have done it , as this UC return flights may just be a one off, is it best to wait till its empty then sneak up there?

Finally on our return night flight, if we don't want to wear a sleep suite will we be the odd ones out?? We just want to lay down, chill and enjoy not necessary actually sleep, as I said before, I doubt we will ever be able to do UC again but wanted to do it once.
Sorry if questions asked before

Regarding food, there is a meal service not long after take off. You will be given the menu beforehand, and included on the menu are some smaller meals and sharing plates that can also be ordered throughout the flight if you get peckish. There is also a selection of snacks (fresh fruit, crisps and chocolate) available at the bar for you to help yourself too at any time.

As far as I know, you can have a drink at the bar at any time the seat belt sign isn't on! :)

I don't see many people wearing the sleep suits. Wear whatever you are comfortable in.

Enjoy your flight!!

In theory the bar is open throughout the flight although in practice it doesn't open until after the main meal service as all the crew will be busy serving food.

As stated above, after the main meal service you can snack on a selection of hot and cold light bites whenever you feel peckish. You can't, however, ask for your main meal whenever you want.

If you wait until it's empty you may never get to experience it :) though to be fair I have only seen all the seats taken at the bar on two occasions. Usually there will be one or two people there, and it is a great place to start a conversation with a fellow passenger even for a wallflower such as myself.

No you won't be the odd ones out. Going to sleep isn't mandatory once you put the suit on though :) and it can be quite pleasant to wear the suit for the flight and then change back into relatively unsullied clothes before you land.

No need to pretend - if on the day you feel unsure, just discreetely ask a member of the crew - they will onbly be too willing to help.

you did not mention the route you will be on. If you are on a 747 plane from Gatwick / Manchester, please be aware the bar only has two seats and so it is not used as much as the bar on other types of aircraft.

I like to consider myself a regular now. But I will still insist on a photo op at the bar.

Then you want the A or K seats which are a bit longer than the inside seats. The bar is almost outside of the cabin and has 3 seats but plenty of room. Not everyone's favourite configuration but you should have a great time.

Here's out last Grenada flight bar shot.
