V-Flyer

Hi all

I want to book flights to San Antonio for early 2017, I've checked the Virgin site and there are flights from LHR connecting in Atlanta with Delta. It does state that miles can't be used to book these flights. I was wondering if there was any way around this as I have a quite a few miles i'd like to use.

Do them as separate bookings on separate PNRs, reward flight LHR-ATL and then maybe revenue flight ATL-SAT. Of course you'd probably need to build in some time to allow for potential delays as unless you've got the bookings on a single PNR you're not protected if there is a delay on any leg of the trip causing a missed connection. That's the downside.
