As previously discussed, the Escape Lounge refurbishment at MAN is not complete (and the very nice girl at check in didn't think the 4/28 opening was likely to be met either) so working our way through our vouchers before boarding Golden Girl back to The Colonies after a smashing fortnight back in the Old Country.

Hope you have an excellent flight. I'm flying on the 11th, so curious to see if it's ready by then.

Delayed. Something to do with something hydraulic.

Watched the plane arrive this morning from my room at the Radisson, didn't look to be limping in!
Have spent the day in London and on my return to the hotel the apron is free of all Virgin hardware so I assume you eventually got way?
I expect the weather in Atlanta is slightly better than Manchester, five snow plows have been dispatched from below my window to do a sweep of the runway after a thunder storm dropped a bit of hail, rather over the top but quite dramatic!

Was also on VS109 yesterday and first delay was as Andy says due to hydraulics. Then problem in closing rear cargo door meant departure 2.5 hours late. Arrived Atlanta 1.5 hours late to a temp of 30C. Sorry to hear about snow and thankful we got away even if a bit late.
