From May 16th, anyone flying to the US or Mexico in Premium Economy with VS now get Comfort+ seating on all domestic DL flights if you have an onward connection.

Just received this email from VS Trade:

Stop Press 866: VS*/DL Premium Economy - Domestic

We would like to let you know that customers travelling in Premium Economy to the USA, Canada and Mexico who have onward connections with Delta (DL) will be offered Delta Comfort+ on US domestic flights, similar to the VS Premium Economy service.

This will be available on almost all DL domestics operations from 16 May 2016 except routes operated by the CRJ aircraft.

I guess that is similar to the AU benefit

Delta Comfort + - From 16 May 2016 members will receive a complimentary access to Delta Comfort + subject to availability on the day. Members will be placed in a queue on the airport standby list. Available on flights from 16 May 2016

Ah ha, that's very good to know James. I've found that this wasn't offered when booking with VS - but if you did the same route via DL - Comfort+ seats were being offered. Handy to know that the two systems now do the same thing!

Does this mean that both flights need to be on the same booking?

I've booked with VS in UC from MAN to ATL but have booked with Delta separately for the transfer to MCO.
