The flights back to Gatwick tonight are delayed, so whilst it may account for some shortage of people, I suspect returning on a Monday evening means a distinct lack of Delta elites ;-)

Have managed to swap my seat to Row 20 on the upper deck - fingers crossed I have a good crew tonight

That, and the fact BA have switched lounges. They took up a lot of capacity in there.

Last week I flew back via Atlanta in first then upper and managed to get access into the delta lounge at MCO as well as Atlanta. I only have ag status but thought I would give it a try

They scanned my ticket and then welcomed me in. It was relatively empty but a lot more enjoyable than the normal scrum when I have previously flown back direct.

Yes, I did overhear a few arriving at the desk asking for the BA Lounge :D That will make a big difference in the future
