Customer relations in flight bonus

So the other half flew to SFO at the weekend on a work trip in UC. Spoke with him last night and he said that he was due 10K miles as they did not have his choice of starter....

He wasn't even bothered and didn't kick up a fuss. The CC member offered him 3K miles and he thanked them and said it was fine and that he was really impressed with the service he had received and he wasn't fussed about not getting his choice of starter.

By the end of the flight, she gave him an envelope which said they would credit him 10K miles! Wow...so that's what you get when you don't complain and actually do the opposite :cool:

I got 4k when mrs D was told her starter wasn't available. As I was having the same she nominated me to give mine up.
I did and got the 4k miles credited on board.

I got 20K miles onboard bonus as my seat was the one in Upper Class that would not convert into a bed (faulty microswitches saying the table was not stowed, when it was).

The crew did give me a couple of bottles of champagne for my inconvenience & I had to chase VS for the miles, but they were in my account within 24hrs of the chase.
