Hi,
Have just returned from our amazing three weeks away, with two great upper class experiences. ( Trip reports to follow ) When we checked in at MCO they tagged our bags to Brussels even though we have an overnight tonight in Manchester. I asked her to only check our bags to Manchester which she did no problem. However, she did issue us with our boarding cards for our flight tomorrow Man- Bru. with Brussels Airlines, Should I call Expedia and cancel the flight, or just leave it and not turn up?

Thanks in advance,

I'd just not turn up, you are ticketed on the flight and I think trying to explain why you're not taking the flight and then potentially risk alerting to them to the fact you've used the Ex Eu trick is just not worth the hassle.

Agreed, don't call them and cancel - they'd be perfectly within their rights to recalculate your fare and bill you accordingly for the journey you actually made.

As long as your bags are definitely tagged to MAN not BRU you're fine just to not show up.

Good thing you noticed - that could have turned into a nightmare!

Thanks for the advice, I thought that airports do not store bags overnight, or is it just that the check in agent got it wrong?

Thanks again,

Steve

Some airports do allow over night storage but not all as they don't have the facilities.

It can often be that an airline won't permit it even if the airport has the facilities.
