Good evening from the LHR CH

Fairly new to the forum (well, new to posting anyway; lurking...not so much!) so thought I'd introduce myself with a quick wave from a fairly busy LHR CH. I expect it will quieten down when the 8pm ish flights are called.

Champagne served and massage booked - leaving me just enough time for some dinner and a few more drinks before I board VS400 :D

Alas, as a newbie my post needed approval so by the time it posted I was (and currently am) on board. So a little out of date now…and yes, the CH did empty out post 8pm.

I have a good feeling about this flight; had a welcome back from the FSM upon boarding which is always a good sign. The crew are taking food and drink orders as I speak, while we taxi at LHR. It's almost a shame I plan on sleeping through most of the flight!

Here is last night's menu. I don't have the breakfast menu to hand but it was the usual fare - with chicken sausages and no pork.

Caesar salad (v)
Carrot and coriander soup (v)

Mains
Free range roast chicken
Fillet steak
Tomato and mozzarella gnocchi (v)
Smoked trout salad

Pudding
Warm brioche and butter pudding
Passion fruit and coconut slice

Cheese and port
Brie
Applewood wedge
Stilton
