Just seen the following message on the VS home page:

We are flying at 11 a.m. monday so luckily we can still check in online after 11 a.m. Sunday

Do we know when Air4 goes live within VS? Could this all be linked?

What is that? The new booking system?

New passenger service system that DL uses is being brought into VS this year. AIR4 will offer reservation, ticketing and departure control functionality, also enhanced web, kiosk and mobile capabilities.

Sounds very good - I heard a few things (that may or may not be accurate) after chatting to someone at the call centre, one specific thing was being able to view the seat map of your flight in full (i.e. all cabins), being able to click on a seat in another cabin to get an upgrade price, and presumably go through with it. Whether that will be part of it or not is speculation on my end!

No changes that I can see! Must have been routine maintenance.

The big switch to Deltamatic is scheduled for November.

I wouldn't get too excited about using the Delta system. On the DL board of flyer talk it's not known as delta.dumb for nothing!
