Delta is making all in-flight entertainment free

The Atlanta-based airline announced Friday that its entire suite of onboard entertainment, which includes up to 300 movies and 750 TV shows, will soon be available to everyone on equipped aircraft on domestic and international flights.

Flew with them yesterday on a 737-900 from ALT - TPA. Entertainment was free, looked good but didn't get chance to use it as flight was only 1 hour ;-)

They had seatback IFE on my 737-800 DEN-JFK. Really good quality picture, responsive screen too. Was impressed.

As did they on my flight from DTW - LAS although the the person in the seat behind me seemed to think they had to stab the screen repeatedly and hard to do anything with it >-(

Ugh... how rubbish!! I had the advantage I suppose that it was a night flight and just about everyone else was asleep except for me... :/
