Just got a Upper return to Las Vegas for next year ended up having to take a 9 day trip rather than my normal 7 days but 2 days extra in Las vegas never hurt anybody right so roll on May/june next year

Oh and whats the best seat for a Single traveller in Upper on a 747? at the moment i have 8A both ways.

I was just on 8A and it was great, congrats on the G! 9 days is always better than 7! Make sure you go to Hash house a go go in Ballys.

my friends normally take me to the one at the plaza, then off down freemont street for the light show

Quite hard, because it's in the Quad.

My recommend would be Ellis Island behind Ballys for the only cheap prime rib close to the strip nowadays (Now that bills is changed to Cromwell), and $1 microbrewed beers. I've tended towards staying Downtown in Main Street Station, for like 22 quid a night, no resort fee.

Then again, there has been a lot more live music going around the Quad area in recent times. A number of live bands and venues of a weekend night.... Maybe back to Harrahs or Flamingo, my usual low cost haunt (my money goes on flying upper/club).
