The pillow spray was included with the sleep suits on our return flight from LAX in May - hubby is still using it

although personally I think there's too much lavender in them

We flew VS44 to LGW on 17th July in UC.
There was some kind of lavender scent/perfume sprayed which CC said was to help with sleep - all it did was near enough give my partner an asthma attack! I wonder if this was similar? Our first time flying UC so not aware if this is normal.
Oh - and the hot towels had a little too much water on them - boiling water in your lap isn't pleasent.

I still have the lavender spray from my UC amenity kit on a JFK flight back in May. I still use it when I can't sleep! Works a charm. Sadly no overnight UC flights until December so this may have to wait for me :(

I used the ThisWorks pillow spray when I got back from our trip in May to BGI. I bought a full size one from ThisWorks because I like it so much. I am not sure it makes me sleep better but it smells nice!

I know since April the 'This works lavender, vetivert & Camomile spray have been with the sleep suits and when making up your bed, the CC do spray this on your duvet if you wish.
The hot towels also have a lovely lavender fragrance too. Smells very nice IMO.

I thought that was standard crew "modus operandi" - i.e. hot towels under the water boiler & hand them out ASAP. Watch as passengers try to use them whilst passing from one hand to another very frequently. Certainly not unique to Virgin - I've had "fresh from the water boiler" hot towels on other airlines too.

I once scalded my hands on a BA hot towel. I tweeted them about it and received a tweet in reply: "the clue's in the the word 'HOT' towel."
Quite rude, I thought!
