V-Flyer

Advice required please regarding best UC seats on VS 789 , think that is right number, it is the dreamliner.

I have just checked for Feb/March 17 & note aircraft switch from A330. I have read comment about best UC seats on V flyer but cannot locate, I recall there being one row without a window.

Advice would be much appreciated.

Definitely go for an A seat as it doesn't have another pax facing you, we had 2 - 5 A on our recent 787 flight and they were excellent.

There are no windows for seats 7 A/K .

Definitely go for the A side - you're then facing the "wall" of G and have access to two huge overhead bins as they are above all three rows (although those above 1G - 3G don't open).

We flew 3A, 4A out to LAX and 5A, 6A back and these were perfect. There is a galley at the front of the cabin but can't say I was disturbed by any noise from there in these seats.

As others have said, definitely A side. I went for 1A and loved it because it felt the most private. Only one neighbour to your right, and much less of a sense of other pax gawping at you, which is my biggest gripe with the herringbone layout that Virgin still favours. There's a bit of light / noise from the galley, but that didn't bother me. Also, you're the furthest away from the loos, but again that wasn't a problem.

i always aim for 3-6a. Not 1-2 as you get the noise from the front and not 7+ (window, near bar)
