Hello from the Delta Sky Club Atlanta...well one of them!
Posted: 02 Sep 2016, 21:13Here I am in Atlanta...after a wonderful flight on the VS109 with an amazing crew.
'Lady Stardust' was in great shape and with only 12pax in UC and only 154 on the entire aircraft, service with 5 CC in UC was attentive and highly personalised. The FSM was a real gem and a credit to VS (as were the entire crew on board)
It seems for the next week or so...traffic is going only one-way across the Atlantic as the VS110 is fully booked for the next few days, hence my journey home from JFK on DL in a couple of days time.
Immigration was a breeze after some nightmare and long arrivals through ATL for the last few months. I walked up to the APC, then an officer and the bag was waiting for me on the belt. The connection security area was deserted. I was on the planetrain in 10mins after leaving the aircraft.
So here I am at Concourse E ready to board my flight to JFK on a 76W. Compared to my trip last month....things are looking good and ontime!
G&T in hand and giving the buffet a miss as I am stuffed from the flight....the food just kept coming!
