V-Flyer

Just blown all my miles on 3 UC outward and 3 PE inward LGW-CUN for next August, the satisfaction of having sorted the flights is tinged with sadness at seeing just a couple of hundred miles remaining......

Now I've got 12 months to raise the miles for PE flights to MCO, which is made easier thanks to the 2x2 Amex PE vouchers due in November having discovered i've spent over 10k on my Black Amex...

congrats, were going cancun in July but staying in playa del carmen.

I'm in the same position and just got my upgrade voucher (only 1 sadly as only had the white card last year) so saving up new miles to use it and also wondering where to go.

We also did Cancun this year, did 9 nights moon palace and then 5 at hard rock and loved them both...

But looking at doing a split stay again but having a few nights in Akumal i think and then back up to Cancun.

Sorry to hijack this thread but we're looking at CAN for next August to celebrate our son's 18th. We want somewhere away from our beloved Caribbean quiet where he can have a lot more fun and it looks like Cancun fits the bill. Hard Rock (CAN) is one of the hotels we are looking at. Can you tell me what you loved about it and how Night's Moon was in comparison (haven't looked at that one yet). We really do want somewhere that's lively without being Club18-30!

We've nigh on emptied our VS accounts with our flights to Antigua in November, I did feel a bit sad but we're going to the dark side and the 2-for-1, although the CAN holiday will be CW or UC paid with actual money.
