V-Flyer

Hello flyers!

So got an email from virgin in June offering a special offer. Double miles and up to 3 extra tier points per sector of booked by 15/6. Checked all the T&C's, registered and booked me and the Mrs in to upper class to Dubai.

Had a great flight on an A330 (was nice) and back on a lovely old A340.

Anyway got back, no extra miles, no tier points, so we emailed virgin and after a messy first response ('yes your miles have gone on' meaning standard miles) they are now saying my flight VS400 + VS401 were excluded routes and it was in the terms and conditions set out at the time. Definitely don't remember that as checked and now the site has gone.

Anyone got any ideas?

Dubai wasn't included in the promotion I'm afraid. It was US routes (plus Cancun) only, and definitely said as such in the T&Cs. Sorry.

It was for routes between North America and the U.K.
