Tinkerbelle

Flew out UC on Saturday on VS43... had Tinkerbelle which (according to FSM was for scrapping but retained only for standby flights if another plane broke down). Anyway, bit of a let down as the bar had been removed and replaced with a sort of filing cabinet. >-(

Paid full price for tickets so weren't cheap, part of this was to enjoy such facilities. Any advice on what to do?

Thanks
Nick

All you can do is complain to Crawley Towers, they might bung you a few miles as a goodwill gesture but that's all as VS would argue a full bar service is still available at your seat so you're not missing out on anything that has monetary value.

Tinkerbelle will be around for a few years yet. The rest of the LHR fleet of 747s was retired earlier this year but she was retained and reconfigured to add capacity to the LGW fleet. Unfortunately it wasn't considered viable to build and install a one-off bar so there isn't one.
