Does anyone know if the revamped VS website still guarantees lowest price?

Just about to book a LHR - HKG PE K class return for business colleague at £938 and same flight class on netflights £878 - price on netflights confirmed, not a lost lead

Unfortunately it looks like Virgin aren't doing the price guarantee anymore. I booked a HKG PE return directly with them for £702 but later found that TravelUp were doing the asme for a stonking £623. They refused to match, saying they never did that (!) so I cancelled within the 24 hour period

Is it my imagination or are Virgin becoming more "Computer says no" every day?

I think it disappeared (along with other things) with the reservation/booking system changes a couple of years ago.
