VS019 Diverted

Just FYI

22/11/16 VS 019 LHR - San Fran diverted to Goose Bay, Canada.

PAX being transferred to Delta DL9919 onward via Detroit

Looks like an emergency landing because of a "technical" problem - some passengers reporting the engine, but unconfirmed.

Not too convinced of the reliability of the 787 I have to say. United has had a few issues with them too.

I landed in Goose Green with the army it's a massive base ,yes in the middle of nowhere but hardly the ends of the earth lol :-D

A lot of airlines have had a lot of problems with many airlines. The 787 had some bad press early on which I why you hear about 787 more than other aircraft, but having spent more time on this jet than most I am completely happy getting on them anytime.
