Ticketing issue or is this normal

So, had to cancel a flight (last Friday) and have rebooked a date for Jan/Feb. The ticket has not been re-issued as yet and when I look at the receipt through MMB it has the old departure/arrival dates in there. The dates in MMB on the webpage show "Passenger status: Confirmed" and the correct dates, and the correct countdown, the booking reference is the same (but I am not expecting that to change based on similar experience with United). Is this normal or should the ticket be re-issued now and the receipt updated accordingly?

Ticket re-issuing is a manual process and can take quite a while as it's done by a very small team, who'll prioritise by date of flight.

Thanks. So in your experience would you say that as everything else looks OK that there is nothing to worry about? If the website etc stuff had not happened I would probably not be too worried, plus my experience with United is that it is fairly swift. Thanks again.

I wouldn't be in the least worried, no. I'd start chasing at a month to go if you still haven't been reticketed then.
