That's good news. I'll keep an eye out for my postie.
On the other side, still no movement in the online account showing miles for my recent flights etc. I know it's only Friday morning, but I was promised they would be in today. What are the chances of seeing something by 5pm?

I am not holding my breath that the miles I am missing will get posted!

I don't know why, but I didn't think we were getting cards anymore and had to download some gizmo to the phone.
I'm pleased to hear cards are still out there as I don't turn my phone on when abroad.

Mine arrived just now too. It's gone back to the gold Albert Hall and "9.42pm London" instead of my previous gold Prometeus in New York.

Are you just looking at the summary page or clicking on the 'see full flying club statement'? Because the summary page appears to be 'stuck' on June!

My summary page is stuck on March!

I'm assuming the new cards will come out in order of Gold, Silver, Red - in which case I will probably see our humble Reds mid 2017 going by the continued website upgrading of the present upgrade

I could be wrong but i think I saw they are not issuing cards for Reds

That must be what I saw too. Being red myself now, no card.

Thought I would just go back into my FC account to see if I could find any info on it and low and behold I am unable to get into my Flying Club account
This is getting beyond a joke now!

My recent activity is stuck on March too, even though the detail goes up to 5th November when I click the "Full Flying Club statement" link......... then nothing! No flights or credit card transactions since then.

Cards (including replacement luggage tags) have arrived for both Mrs Buns and myself arrived in the same post.
At least the accompanying letter from Ollie cleared up one worry we had - Thanks Ollie
At this stage, still no missing miles or Tier Points added and my heart goes out to those on the Front Line at VS (both on the phone and in person on board) for all the flak they must be taking on behalf of Senior Managers who continue to remain silent.
Any bets on us all getting a "customer relation miles bonus"

I received mine a couple of days ago. However, like the website, it says my Au status expires next year when I am actually Lifetime Au.

Does the accompanying letter from Ollie state you are lifetime Au?

My account says 2 yrs gold membership.
App says red next year.
New card Au, its gold not gold for life as previously.
......only thing correct is letter that says gold for life.
Actually this quite good. A mark of 25% is more than I would give VS at the moment!!

My new card arrived today - expires end 01/2017 (but already renewed status for next year). The term WTF comes to mind, especially given the way Virgin Atlanta are diving for cost-savings.

Sorry just caught up. Yes the letter says lifetime Au, just the cards that give an expiry date of 05/17

Funny some people on here. I'm sure if VS had turned round and said "We're not sending you a card because your membership year is about to expire" there would be an equal number of complaints about "cost cutting" and "enhancements" and "clearly I'm not valued" and blah blah.
Only this forum could turn something so trivial as a new card arriving in the post into a moan about "Virgin Atlanta". Something tells me this is complaining for the sake of complaining and riding the gravy train of everything being terrible.

I think the point was, since he had already re-qualified, why not send the card now but with an expiration date of 01/2018?
That would save mailing a second card less than 30 days later.

Fair enough, I missed that bit. Still, seems a trivial thing to complain about.

Exactly my point. I would not have complained if they either delayed sending out my new card - or just sent me a new one with 01/2018 expiry. It saves them a bit of money.
As an aside, years ago I used to work for a Utilities company. When we did final account refunds, if the amount due to the customer was under £1, we started donating the money to charity (having quad-roupled it first). We still wrote to the customer to tell them what had happened - as we had to. Next to no-one asked for the cheque for what was essentially their few pence to be sent out (which they still had the option to do, as it was their money). Got quite a bit of good publicity for this move too.
