V-Flyer

Hi everyone,

So, it was my birthday today, and as a Gold member I was expecting a 2000 miles bonus in my account.

However, I've been credited with 3140 miles and 25 tier points.

I'm not sure where those extra 1140miles have come from, and while those 25 tier points show up on my activity statement, they haven't been added to my total tier points (whereas the miles have). I never expected to get any tier points anyway, so is this just an error on the statement?

The new website just keeps on giving.

I've realised VA have combined a previous flight I made in October and the birthday miles together under one activity which just says "a gift from Flying Club for your birthday".

Why it's like that, I have no idea, but that explains the 25 tier points (from the October flight) and the 3140miles number (1140miles was from the previous flight).

The website is so broken!

I got a birthday card and a balloon way back on 5th November with a promise of 2,000 birthday miles: "Just for you". They have not yet arrived in my account, nor have miles for my recent flights. However, my Virgin Holiday miles and my MBNA card miles have come in over the last few days.

Oh Virgin Atlantic, you've burst my balloon and left me deflated!
