Hi all, I am a long term lurker but my first post!
I fly the MAN MCO route upto 8 times a year as a family of 6 in upper. I book my flights 11 months in front , always during school holidays so expect to see a higher price.
Looking at the prices for next October the cost was over £3k per person on Virgins website which is up to £1k more than usual!
I have been monitoring this and the flights on the Virgin website and are at £3277.52 whereas the exact same flights booked via the Delta site are £2148.52!
How could this be the case!!!

this issue has come up on the forum before, my advice would be if the price on the delta site is good for you book it, just check its on virgin metal if thats what you're after.

My Father-in-law had been looking for flights on same route (MAN-MCO) for Easter next year. and found the Virgin price had been around £3,300 in Upper, but checked on Delta last night and found identical flight on VS metal for £1,744, so he booked it. He had been hoping for Xmas sale before that, but jumped at the Delta price. I wonder if Delta site applies the USA incentive discount, to encourage US citizens to come to UK.
My sister-in-law lives in Florida, and was hoping to come over for Xmas, but return in Upper was $7,500. Then she got a Black Friday email saying the prices had been slashed. She booked a return in Upper for $2,000. Suggest you get it while you can.

Hmmmm. Just had a call from FIL. Apparently the Delta price has just appeared on VS site. Seems Delta site was 12+ hours ahead of VS.

I expect there will be a Boxing Day sale too so wonder if prices are inflated just now?
