No VS operated flights to ATL some dates next year

Was just browsing bookings for next year & realised that my LHR-ATL on 26th May has been altered to a DL operated flight at 12:50 instead of the VS103 I was originally on at 11:50. Looking at the schedules it seems there are no VS operated flights around this time, however my return on 2nd June is on VS metal. Perhaps they're juggling aircraft what with the 330 refurbs? My connection time for onward DL flight to now only 2 hours, is that OK?

Thanks
James

Two hours at ATL should be easy based on my experiences there but shame about the transfer of metal.

Delta One is now a very good business class product, particularly now it includes access to the VS Clubhouse at LHR.

TBH the DL J seat is far better than the VS one and far more adaptable in changing positions etc

And the DL ATL CC are fabulous.

I'm trying Delta One for the first time on Saturday and I am looking forward to it. Judging from recent trip reports it's a good product and the service is great. I wouldn't be too upset over it personally :)

Thanks all. Must admit I'tt be good to try Delta One. I just thought it odd that on some dates there are no VS operated flights at all to ATL.

It's perhaps a little more likely now that the 2nd service was transferred to DL. So now on a full day there is 1 VS and 3 DL services.

Does anyone know if I'll still be able to use miles to book a CDC to LHR? I had originally used miles for a G reward & was keen to use up my remaining miles on a few CDC's next year before jumping ship to BA. I'm hoping that as it's a VS sold ticket and VS flight number the answer may be yes?

Dont be certain it wont come back.

I've just found the same issue with a LHR to MIA flight. I was told that whole swathes of virgin flights had been deleted from the systems and people auto rebooked onto compatible flights.

They are manually reinstating the affected flights and should be done by the new year apparently

The VS seat is better than the DL one in my experience; however the food on DL is much better.
