Hi all, after a lovely week in Arizona it's time to go home. Am about half way through my six hour layover after a decent, but very early flight from PHX. I sense the lounge has improved since my last visit as I don't remember the showers being available, they were most welcomed.

Heading back on the VS110 to MAN. Looks like I'll be spending my first few hours of 2017 in the rain. Nice!

TR to follow soon on my LHR-ATL flight in Delta One. Spoilers - it was very good indeed.

Have a great new years, wherever you may be!

Hope you had a good trip back.
Any tips on the ATL lounge and places to get a decent meal. We will be coming through in March.

When we last used it in November to get back to LHR after a stay in Orlando, we found the place absolutely rammed to the rafters, almost akin to being in the First Lounge at Euston Station on a Friday night :-O The food offerings are limited and i found it helpful to leave a gratuity when going to the bar for a drink as i was served quickly the next time ;-)

As for eating, i would suggest the Jekyll Island Seafood Company which is located on the lower level (the food court and the Delta Sky Room are on the mezzanine level) - whilst nothing special, we at least got a cooked to order meal.
