Baby changing facilities on B787

Having managed a while ago to get G's to LAX for 6 of us the departure time is fast approaching.

Flight is currently scheduled to be a 787 and having flown that plane a few times I've been able to answer most of the families questions so far. There is an exception however, we'll have an infant with us this time and the availability of baby changing facilities is not something that has ever been of interest to me before. Website says that some aircraft have baby changing facilities but doesn't say which.

I recall that the toilets nearest the UC cabin are larger but can anyone tell me if there is a fold down table in there or anywhere else on the 787?

The infants parents are amazed that it has never been my priority before ;-)

Yes, I can confirm that both the washrooms for the Upper Class cabin on the B789's both have a fold-down baby changing table. Those 2 washrooms are also both wheelchair/accessibility friendly/ADA compliant as well (which is why they are both larger, have a solid outward hinged opening door instead of the standard folding push washroom door as well as a small fold down seat next to the actual toilet.)

I actually used that fold down bady-changing table last week whilst changing for my night flight home from SFO.

The 2 other washrooms next to those which are actually on the Premium Economy side of the curtain are both standard sized aircraft washrooms.

James

Many thanks for the confirmation of the washroom configuration.

Will certainly reassure the parents, and grandparents :-)
