Wave from the Heathrow Clubhouse

After two days of coping with rail strikes in London (and all the associated hassle) Mrs Buns and I are now ensconced in the "reduced" Heathrow Clubouse drinking to two positives of the day:
The M25 being traffic free and as a consequence having 6 hours before our flight is called
Mrs Buns on entering the Clubhouse was able to secure two miles upgrades from PE to UC for our flight this evening
Treatments booked and now sitting back and watching the world go by

Many thanks. The Clubhouse is currently "fenced off" behind the Brasserie all the way to the window. So the Library, Loft and Roof Garden are off limits.
It is fair to say space is at a premium, so when you find a seat that suits, grab it
I have been able to have a meal (reduced Menu), shoeshine and a haircut. So service is still there

[Edit]. I should add the shoeshine man is temporarily situated opposite the concierge desk

Have a great time...
I read your post as "drinking two positives of the day" and wondering what nature of cocktail that might be.

My flight was cancelled
Luckily I received the notification text before I left the house so I won't be spending the night in an airport hotel. That is the only plus side, as I am still having to reschedule everything.
VS have rebooked me onto tomorrow's flight with a single call that lasted all of five minutes and have given me two extra days in Dubai on the return.. I will have my time in the sun, sea and sand after the snow

Cheers guys, appears the flight cancellations were all for nowt considering the lack of the massive snowstorm for which they were preparing.
Everyone has been great with rebooking and rejigging stuff around the amended flights for me and whilst it does help to be a little bit flexible of course; top marks to VS, Shangri-La and BlackLane.
